And the king said, “Bring him to me, that I might reserve him exclusively for myself.” Then when he had spoken with him, he said, “Truly this day thou shalt be of high rank and trusted in our presence.
Joseph replied, "Place in my charge the treasury of the State. I shall be a competent custodian." (Now that he could personally handle the oncoming drought)
Joseph said: "Place me over all the resources of the land. Certainly I know how to manage; I have the necessary knowledge."

(Yusuf) said, "Appoint me the chief of the earth´s treasury. I have the knowledge and I am the protector."

(Yusuf) said: “Set me over the Khazain (treasures, store houses and finances) of the country. Verily, I (will prove myself as) ever-guarding, ever-knowing.”
Yusuf (Joseph) said: ‘(If you really want me to accomplish a special assignment, then) appoint me as (a minister and trustee of) the treasures in the land (of Egypt). Indeed, I am well versed in resource management and resource protection and an expert (in financial management).
(Yoosuf (Joseph)) said: "Set me over the storehouses of the land; I will indeed guard them with full knowledge" (as a minister of finance in Egypt, in place of Al-Aziz who was dead at that time)
(Joseph) said, “Appoint me treasurer of your land. Indeed, I am a trustworthy and knowledgeable person.”
Sayyed Abbas Sadr-Ameli
He(Yusuf)said: 'Set me over the storehouses of the land. Verily I am a knowing guardian'.
Al-muntakhab fi tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim
There, Yusuf said: "Now, O king, that you have faith in me, then entrust ''me with the granaries and the storehouses of the agricultural and natural products of the land and with the treasuries of the realm, and you shall find me trustworthy and capable of guarding the interests of the kingdom and knowing how to manage and administer affairs cleverly"
